The wedding which we had the honour of being the photographer for was also an unforgetable and magical experience for the duration of it's three days of celebrations. The couple were Susan, originating from Portugal and Joe whose origins are Italian. They live in Canada, but chose splendid Calabria as the the destination for their nuptials, uniting the attraction of Italian tradition with the breath-taking scenic beauty of Calabria.
The event began with a "Welcome Dinner" in the suggestive setting of a vineyard. The guests, mostly from overseas, were emmersed in the warmth and life of a typical Calbrese dinner, giving them the perfect introduction to the weekend of festivities to come.
The following day the atmosphere was even more charming. The wedding took place at the Castello di Serragiumenta, whose setting framed this special moment. The installation used for their celebration was colourful and fashionable in every detail from the floral decorations to the elegant outfits of the guests, all contributing to creating a suggestive atmosphere.
On the third day the festivities culminated with a brunch on the castle terrace. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on the wonderful moments experienced over the previous days. The guests were able to enjoy a morning in the open air, enjoying delicious food and pleasant conversations in the gentle sunlight which illuminated the last chapter of this extraordinary wedding.
